Whales, Puffins & Reykjavík is a 2 Hour whale & bird watching tour starting from Reykjavik Old Harbour every day April 15th to October 31st.
Experience the wildlife and nature adventure of a lifetime on our most personal whale watching tour. Our custom-made RIB boats can get you closer to the whales and puffins than any other whale watching tour out of Reykjavík. The RIB boats are fast, stable and safe boats that allow us to cover more area on our search for wild life, thus increasing your chances of spotting whales, dolphins and birds.
This amazing and fun whale-watching tour begins from the Old Reykjavík Harbour. First, we visit the puffins in their natural habitat on the islands just off Reykjavík. Next, we head out in search of the whales. Seeing these giants of the sea is definitely the experience of a lifetime and we might encounter some playful dolphins frolicking in the bay.
After our search for whales, we head back towards Reykjavík, sail along the shoreline of the city and experience the unique view from the sea (perfect for photos). We then sail past the popular Sun Voyager sculpture and the lesser-known side of Iceland’s most famous building, the architectural delight, Harpa Concert Hall.

Min: No minimum number of participants for 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 16.00 departures. Minimum 2 person for 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00 departures.
Age limit: 10 years or 145 cm height
Bring with you: Dress according to weather. In Iceland it is always wise to dress in warm, waterproof clothes. Weather changes can be sudden so expect the unexpected. Bring a waterproof jacket and pants, headwear and gloves. Good outdoor shoes are recommended.*
Hotel pick up: Hotel pick ups start 45 minutes before your chosen departure time. Please be ready to leave from your hotel reception, or if you are staying in a home be waiting outside.**

Cancellations due to weather: We sometimes need to cancel the whale watching part of this tour due to winds in the main whale habitat area. In such an event we will offer you two choice. The most fun one is: we take you on a Puffins & Reykjavík tour in the RIB boat with the addition of sailing between the islands of the coast AND you get to go on the Reykjavík Whale Watching tour, which is on a much bigger boat that can sail in stronger winds. Or the far less exciting option: A full refund.

What do I need to bring
Dress appropriately for our northern ocean, so if you have it, bring warm outdoor clothing like a wool or fleece sweater, some warm headgear and gloves. Sturdy shoes are recommended.
