Join us to explore Reykjavík’s nearby nature in the most entertaining manner possible. Most of our guests are beginners, so we know how to provide an experience that is as safe as it is fun. Our quads are automatic and very simple to drive, you simply squeeze the handle and off you go! Our expert guides will make sure you are aware of all the safety instructions before heading off. The Reykjavík ATV safari Tour puts you in the driving seat!
The beauty of Reykjavík is that it is situated in a stunning and dramatic natural environment. You´ll see that it’s the perfect setting for your quad biking experience. We´ll take a route along the lovely Lake Hafravatn, explore the different terrains and then head up to the top of Hafrafell Mountain – the highest point of the journey. Your reward? Breathtaking views of Reykjavík and the surrounding mountains.
We can pick you up from your hotel and drive you straight out of town or you can meet us at our base camp. There you will find your quad bike and get all the safety and operating instructions needed. Then we hit the road, heading for the mountiains.
Hotel pick ups are not included in the price of the tour. We do offer a pick up service, but you are also very welcome to make your own way to our Safari Quads Base Camp.

Pick up: Hotel pick ups are not included in the price of the tour. We do offer a pick up service, operated by Safari Quads. Feel free to make your own way to our Safari Quads Base Camp, located in Lambhagi (Lambhagavegur) in Reykjavik. It is a greenhouse area, and the base-camp is inside a Green house. Yes you heard right!
Bring with you: Dress according to weather. In Iceland it is always smart to dress in warm, waterproof clothes. Weather changes can be sudden so expect the unexpected. Bring a waterproof jacket and pants, headwear and gloves. Good outdoor shoes are recommended.
Duration: Approximately 1 hour on the bike. 2-2,5 hrs with transfer.
Important Information: A valid driver’s licence is required.
NOTE: You must use the ‘Single rider extra’ to indicate how many will be riding solo on a bike (if any). An additional 4000 ISK is charged for a single ride in the case of an odd number booking (1, 3, 5, 7 etc).
