Visita la costa sur de Islandia, haz una caminata sobre un glaciar y después visita las increíbles cascadas de Skógar y Seljalandsfoss en uno de los tours de un día más completos desde Reykjavík. La primera parada será el escabroso glaciar Sólheimajökull. Sólheimajökull es un glaciar de desagüe que fluye de la principal capa de hielo de Mýrdalsjökull donde descansa el poderoso volcán Katla. Tendrás que caminar sobre el glaciar con crampones especiales en los zapatos y explorarás las increíbles grietas de hielo acompañado por un experto guía titulado.
El siguiente destino es la impresionante cascada de Skógarfoss. Una vez que te acerques a ella sentirás cómo su agua te acaricia la cara; también podrás subir la colina (en total son 527 escalones) para ver desde lo alto la majestuosa cascada de 60 metros de altura y observar la caída en picado del agua en su camino hacia el océano atlántico.
Por último, pero no por ello menos importante, visitaremos la catarata de Seljalandsfoss, que es una de las atracciones más famosas de Islandia; para obtener una perspectiva diferente se puede pasar por detrás de la cascada y mirar a través del muro de agua.
Para llegar a nuestro increíble destino pasaremos por fértiles tierras de cultivo y pequeños pueblos. La zona es bien conocida por su historia y patrimonio vikingos protegidos por los famosos volcanes Eyjafjallajökull y Hekla y su poderosa presencia. En los días despejados también se puede obtener una vista maravillosa de las islas Westman donde yacen los conocidos volcanes que causaron problemas a los isleños en la década de los 70 del siglo pasado.

Límite de edad: Para los crampones es necesario calzar como mínimo un 35.
Qué llevar: Vestirse de acuerdo al clima. En Islandia siempre es recomendable llevar ropa abrigada e impermeable. Los cambios de clima pueden ser repentinos así que es mejor estar preparado. Tráete una chaqueta y pantalones impermeables, gorro y guantes. Se recomienda llevar también zapatos de montaña.

The Solheim Glacier is a magnificent and humbling site to behold, it is a glacial tongue extension of the Myrdalsjökull glacier. When we arrive there, you will be outfitted by the Icelandic Mountain Guides with all the necessary equipment for hiking and exploring the cracks and crevasses of the glacier.
Skógafoss Waterfall
The powerful Skógafoss waterfall where a short walk up a flight of stairs will reveal one of Iceland´s most scenic views, glaciers, volcanoes and black sand beaches.
Along the return trip to Reykjavik, we will stop at the powerful 65 meter tall Skógafoss Waterfall where a short walk up a flight of steps will reveal one of Iceland´s most scenic views of glaciers, volcanoes and black sandy beaches. With viewpoints both above and directly next to the waterfall, photographers will have plenty of chances to capture that unique shot.
Seljalandsfoss
Seljalandsfoss waterfall, famous for the hidden pathway behind and around it.
The Seljalandsfoss waterfall is for many guests the highlight of this trip, as you can walk along this waterfall offering a completely unique perspectives! From here we will spend about 1.5 hours in the coach returning to Reykjavik.
Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach
This one of the most famous and most visited sites in all of Iceland. Marvel at the unique volcanic black sand beach of Reyisfjara with rising basalt columns, a large basalt stone cave which has been battered by heavy oceanic waves.
There is a cafe located at Reynisfjara where you can buy some snack or use the restrooms if needed.
