En definitiva, nada representa mejor el “invierno islandés” que la aventura de ir en su búsqueda y convertirte en un cazador de auroras boreales. Como resultado de las potentes tormentas solares, las auroras boreales necesitan cielos despejados de invierno para ser visibles. Puedes estar seguro de que nuestro equipo de expertos cuenta con décadas de experiencia en el análisis de los patrones climáticos. Cada día revisamos cuidadosamente la previsión de nubes y el pronóstico de auroras boreales. Para buscar las auroras es necesario estar al aire libre en el invierno islandés por lo que definitivamente necesitas llevar ropa de abrigo. Sin embargo, no te preocupes, somos el único operador que ofrece “abrigos boreales” para alquilar en nuestros recorridos y que no pases frío.
INFORMACIÓN PRÁCTICA SOBRE AURORAS BOREALES CLÁSICOPrecio y disponibilidad: Ver pestaña de reservas a la derecha. Niños 0-11 años gratis y de 12-15 50% descuento. Desde el 1 de octubre hasta el 31 de marzo, todos los días a las 21:00. Desde el 1 hasta el 30 de septiembre y desde el 1 hasta el 15 de abril todos los días a las 22:00. Las salidas del tour están condicionadas por las condiciones climáticas.

Qué llevar: Vestirse de acuerdo al clima. En Islandia siempre es recomendable llevar ropa abrigada e impermeable. Los cambios de clima pueden ser repentinos así que es mejor estar preparado. Tráete una chaqueta y pantalones impermeables, gorro y guantes. Se recomienda llevar también zapatos de montaña.
Audioguía en el autobús: No te olvides de los auriculares pero si no te los traes te los vendemos.

• Tours depart from the Reykjavik Terminal located at Skógarhlíð 10. Please be sure to arrive 15 minutes prior to departure along with a printed or digital copy of your ticket/voucher.
• If you have booked a hotel pickup with Smartbus, please be at your chosen pickup location 30 minutes before the departure of the tour. Look for the Green Smartbus which will be outside your accommodation at within the 30 minutes of pickup.

What do I need to bring
For the In-Bus-Audio-Guide: Bring your own headphones. Otherwise, headphones are available for purchase on every bus from our hosts.
For your comfort: Dress according to the weather. In Iceland, it is always wise to dress in warm waterproof clothes. Weather changes can be sudden so be prepared for all weather conditions. Waterproof jacket and pants, headwear and gloves, and warm socks/waterproof shoes are recommended, especially since we will be outside at night.

- It is never guaranteed that we will see northern lights, however, we do our best to maximize our chances by picking the best locations.
- Since it is never guaranteed to see the aurora, we will make sure you get the chance to see them. In the event of an unsuccessful hunt, we offer you the chance to re-book as many times as needed until you partake in a successful northern lights hunt. You can continue to do this within a 2 year period of going on the first hunt.
