Reykjavik Craft Beers, Icelandic Tapas and the Inside Scoop!

If you are into local beers, local foods and getting the inside knowledge on Reykjavík and Iceland, then this is the tour for you. This popular tour is based at Bryggjan Brugghús in the heart of Reykjavík Old Harbour and is perfect for foodies and beer nerds, not to mention those wanting to learn a little more about Icelandic culture, customs and current affairs.

Your host will mix and match the history of Icelandic ales and modern craft beers with stories about how Icelanders managed to survive in this harsh environment of the far north. The event is informal and your host will discuss anything and everything under the Arctic sun, take questions and give honest advice about travelling and enjoying Iceland.

During the event you will taste at least six different beers and ales, each drink paired with a locally sourced and prepared Icelandic course, served “tapas” style. You will taste fish caught earlier the same day from the pier outside the window. Also on the menu is Icelandic lamb. Because lambs roam wild in the mountains of Iceland their meat tastes like no other.

Pro Tip: Combine the Cheers To Reykjavik with our Northern Lights & Stars tour!

City of Reykjavík

Reykjavík is the capital and largest city of Iceland. It has a latitude of 64°08' N, making it the world's northernmost capital. With a population of around 120,000, it is the heart of Iceland's cultural, economic and governmental activity. It is among the cleanest, greenest, and safest cities in the world.

Harpa Concert Hall

Harpa is a concert hall and conference centre in Reykjavík, Iceland. Harpa was designed by the Danish firm Henning Larsen Architects in co-operation with Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson. Look out for events in Harpa while in Iceland.

"Golden Circle & snowmobile"

Its a "must to do activity" when you visit Iceland. The journey to the mountain with super truck for snowmobiel-ing is incredible. We were really happy and satisfied

"Very well organised"

I would highly recommend these guys to go on tour with. Very well organised. Coaches comfortable. Would use again if I went back to Iceland.

"Amazing Experience – Fantastic Guide & Driver"

We added "South Coast Classic" with Reykjavik Sightseeing to fill the time on one of our unplanned days. It turned out to be our best Iceland experience! The tour itself was 11 hours, and we couldn't believe how much we experienced in that time. The black sand beach with basalt columns was especially breathtaking.
