Sólheimajökull is a glacier tongue crawling from the ice-cap of Mýrdalsjökull. On Mýrdalsjökull rests the mighty Katla Volcano, that last erupted in 1918. The glacier tongue boast of a tiny surface area of about 8 km in length and 2 km in width. Needless to say, the area is one of vast and breathtaking beauty.
Our south coast tour was lovely! The black sand beaches felt almost other worldly. Waterfalls are stunning. The south coast tour is a must!...even though it is a very long day. However, booking with Reykjavik Sightseeing is a really great option. Of the four companies we had tours with, they were by far the best.

Visiting the Golden Circle with Reykjavik Sightseeing was a great experience. They had a car seat for our 18 month old that allowed him to easily see out the window during the ride between stops. The buses are very nice, and they provide a tablet with tour facts.

Amazing team! Very knowledgeable. You can go every Day until you see it! No extra charge. On the second time they found an amazing spot and the whole group had an amazing time!
